The journey which my materials undertake is an important part of my process. I am exploring the ways I can transform surfaces through the combination of wood and textiles; the juxtaposition of materials – the natural and the man-made. The act of wrapping, knotting and moulding create these bulbous growths which are constructed and exist in an unnatural and artificial form.
